| Tatum's new sister... Okay, so she's not a Yorkie but we love her and Tatum is starting to give in a little too. She's a blue merle Australian Shepherd. Some of you may remember me seeking name help. We were going to get a red merle but this one was so much prettier that we got the blue instead. She's almost 8 weeks old and although she looks quite fat, she weighs 5.4 lbs as of yesterday. Won't be that small for long though! And we didn't even go with a "western" name like my husband originally wanted. After throwing many names around, we finally ended up with Stormie......

| Here's one more shot of her showing the spots on her other side. She's marked so different on each side....

| She is absolutely gorgeous. I have always wanted one the exact same color as her. We just don't have the room inside or outside for a dog her size. You are very lucky. They are really smart. |

| Yes, they are very smart. My husband wants her to help him with the cattle and stuff. It's funny how that instinct is just in their breed. Last night one of his uncle's calves (he lives on the next property over from us) got into his yard and since they were out of town, my husband went over to get it out. He took Stormie with him and as soon as he set her down out of the truck she started barking at that cow and got in her stance like she knew just what to do. She didn't "herd" the calf, per say, but this is the first time she's even seen a cow and it looked like she knew what she was doing! Pretty smart little booger! And thanks everyone! We think she's a cutie too.... she looks like a little bear cub with no tail whatsoever and so much fluff. You should see her run through the grass!

| Cute! Enjoy this time that they're about the same size! I remember when my neighbor's golden was SMALLER than our Sully! Now the Golden, nearly 6mo. old, is about 3x Sully's size. Anyway, congrats and enjoy your new puppy time!
