| Dressing the dogs I just got Asia a bandana saying Proud to be an american for the 4th. She looks so cute in it but she will not leave it alone. It has been hot here in florida since I got her in march so she has only had a t-shirt on once. How do you get them use to wearing the cute outfits I see everyones babies wearing. she is 5 months old and I like to go camping in the colder months so I know she will need to wear something warm then. Any Ideas? |

| Awww, I bet your fur baby, Aisa is very cute in her bandana! Take some pics and share! Little by little she should get used to the clothes. Maybe just leave an outfit on a few minutes at a time and offer her praise and a treat. Good luck!

| I would also make sure the outfit is comfortable. When Megan and I were looking last night there was a Hawaain shirt I loved but she pointed out that the velcro on it was in a spot that would rub his throat and would probably be uncomfortable. I know it's true of baby clothes too, I never bought anything with stiff lacey collars for Megan when she was little because it seemed uncomfortable.

| Yes, they get used to them little by little. Especially, if they understand that they might get to go somewhere when they put them on! Muffin didn't wear anything in the house, generally. She'd just wear them when she went for a ride or for a walk and she became so eager that all I had to do was to hold the sweater neck open and she'd help me out by poking her head through it and try to push her legs into the sleeves. Just try putting something on regularly for awhile maybe each day. |
