| Should I fence off a small peice of my yard? I was just wondering if I should make a special area for Salvador in our back yard, before he comes. I had read that I should build a small fence in area within our big yard to keep him away from other dogs. What do you think? |

| It certainly wont hurt and its nice that he would have a place to run unleashed too!! We have about 1/4 of our yard fenced off for the dogs...we were going to fence in the whole yard but this way the doggy poo is contained to one area only lol... Dawn |

| My dear sweet hubby built Murfee a small area in back of the house. Even though I don't leave him out alone, it still makes me feel safer and the other dogs can't get in. |

| I think it's a great idea. They love to run around in the backyard, so if they have a place to do that unleashed, they have a blast!

| We just got one of those little fence for the boys. We are going to put it up so that way they can go in there to potty instead of where everybody elses dog goes. We don't have a yard. I do have a small area I put in grass and it is just big enough for the fench area. Other wise we walk on the trail, to go potty.

| We have a small fenced area for ours. We have made it quite cute. It is a picket fence with a sign "Yorky Yard", and balls and toys for them to play with. They share it with our tortoise. It is wonderful for keeping them safe (falling in the pool, visitors cars etc. I feel more at ease with them playing in there.

| we have a small picket fenced area too, it is right off the french door in the living room so I can always keep an eye on them. They never go out alone but I can sit at the table and watch them when I am busy and they are "busy bodies"..

| I've been kickin this idea around for quite a while. My yorkie, Otis, would love to be an outside dog and doesn't acknowledge the "come" command. With the time change, it gets dark very early now. Both my dogs are black and my yard is rather big so sometimes it's hard to see them when they are way out back. I think it's a great idea. I think I'm gonna do it too!!!

| We are thinking of buying the lot next to our house, so until we decide, we aren't going to fence in the yard. So, I've been thinking about a small area fenced in. I might do that. I'm just trying to figure out the best/ most economical/ prettiest way right now.

| I fenced in an area off my deck. So he has the whole deck to run on plus a about 30 foot area on the ground. He loves it out side. http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...Picture068.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...Picture243.jpg It hardly cost anything for fence and stakes |
