| No you did the right thing. People like that don't deserve dogs. I have never left mine in a car. I wouldn't want to be left in there with just a crack window. If it is not good for me then it sure isn't good for my boys either. That is what I say. I wanted to be treated great and so do my boys. Treat them how you want to be treated. Plus a whole lot more.

| It is neglect and you did the right thing and maybe prevented something horrible from happening to that poor dog in the future. Found this link on a dog not so lucky even though the "windows are cracked'. http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...ft_in_hot.html Thank you for standing up and saying something!!

| Thank you all for your support. Looking back a day later, I would have done the same thing....better safe than sorry. |

| Donating Yorkie Yakker | I think you were right, glad you did it! I did the same thing about a 3 yr. old boy (human) in a car at our local pool...I found the Mom and watched to see if she was going to go to the car- she said, "you're going to stay here and watch me aren't you?" I smiled and shrugged my shoulders. I'm sure I'm not her favorite person. If I saw a pup in a car in the same circumstance, I would do it too. |

| It is against the law in the state of FL to leave a dog in the car unattended regardless of the temperature! I have been known to leave a few notes on windshield educating people! I was actually thinking about making little business cards to put on the windshields. I see at least one a week! So sad! |

| I think it's terrible for anyone to leave animals in vehicles. I've often been tempted to do the same thing.

| Yeah for you! I know it can be frustrating if you have to go inside somewhere and you have your pet with you, BUT you take that chance when you decide to leave with them. Last Saturday Koda and I went out. We went to a pet store for his food, rural king and TSC cause they were having Pet'o'ween things there and I could take him in. I really needed to stop at Wal-Mart but of course i didn't. The thought didn't even cross my mind of leaving him in the truck! |
