I think you were right, glad you did it! I did the same thing about a 3 yr. old boy (human) in a car at our local pool...I found the Mom and watched to see if she was going to go to the car- she said, "you're going to stay here and watch me aren't you?" I smiled and shrugged my shoulders. I'm sure I'm not her favorite person.If I saw a pup in a car in the same circumstance, I would do it too.
