Mickey is peeing all over the place! Help! All of a sudden Mickey (11 months) is peeing all over the place. He still goes on his wee-wee pad, but he seems to marking his territory everywhere! I am getting him neutered on Jan 12 after I come back from vacation. My worry, however, is that he will continue to do this at my aunt's house while we are on vacation. What can I do to surpress this naughty habit?

PUt a rubber band around his pee pee? Just kidding, of course. Boy that is a hard one. Hold him in your lap --when you can't do that, put him in a play pen or in the kitchen (blocked off) where you can watch him better. Take him out at least every hour and praise! Praise! Praise! when he goes. Give him really bad looks and tell him he is a bad boy when he goes in side. Good Luck! Pat

You may just have a "marker" now. Hopefully neutering him will help. For now, you can buy "belly bands" for males that have little pee pads (diapers) in them that will catch their urine when they sniff and lift. That's one reason to have them neutered before they start lifting, at around 5-6 months. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya...... Mary Ellen
