My Codie does the same thing! I tried getting a bigger pad too but he just goes on the very edge again!! These little stinkers ... gotta love 'em!

OMG I was having the same problem so I went to the Pet Smart and got what looks like a Kitty Litter but for dogs. They come in different sizes I got the one to fit the wee wee pad just right. It is a Tan color tray and even when he lifts his leg it doesn't come out and the good part of it is that you take it and wash it out in the tub and its cleaned . I LOVE IT! go get it fast.
