Potty Training Our yorkie is about 5 months old now and we are trying to get her potty trained. Like everyone else it has been a lot of work so far. She used to be really good about going outside and doing her business out there. Now she seems to use the potty pads inside. Which is okay but we want her to go outside to do her business. When we take her outside now she just runs around for 15 mins and does nothing. Sometimes she will just run around and sniff everything. I get frustrated that she is not going potty and then bring her back inside. As soon as she comes in she will go potty inside. I am not sure what else to try at this point. Any advice anyone might have would be great!

Try to put a small piece of her poop outside where you want it to go and let her sniff at it and when she goes just praise her

Yeah I was thinking of trying that. I was also thinking of putting one of her potty pads outside.
