| Maybe A Tip to Calm Them Down? So, Luigi had a big day today. It was too fun. My two best friends since elementary came over, and we visited my friend's work (a driving school...where Luigi got to run around two rooms of her small office), then went to the mall (to grab some food, where Luigi attracted some new people), then went to goldenspoon (a delicious frozen yogurt place, where Luigi attracted MORE people), then drove around the town talking (where Luigi fell asleep on my lap), then showed off and did some tricks at home (where Luigi impressed my friends...I'll try to post a video soon!) Lately, he's been barking a little more than usual when I leave him in his crate (not a lot, cause i don't tolerate it and just ignore him..but i think the weather has something to do with the extra barking, or he just gets bored or something). But anyway, if I take him out for a drive or a walk, I notice after doing those things, he's very calm and likes to chill by himself after and won't bark. For instance, right now (after his big day today), he is sound asleep in his crate not making a peep. Normally, he'd probably bark a little here and there. But not now. Just wondering if this works for anyone else, and if anyone else's yorkies do this after a big day (or even just a small walk or time to go out and get some fresh air)? I figured it'd help some of you people who are trying to train your yorkies to calm down from barking or whatnot. Taking them out seems to be a fun way to get them to calm down and be good I guess cause they love the adventures and opportunities to meet new friends Just wondering if this works for anyone else, cause I'm really hoping this is something that will always help me to get him to calm down. It's working as such a good tool so far, I don't want it to go away
