| At 4 months back to square 1?!?!?! I got Benjamin at 8 weeks old.. his paper training went so smooth i couldn't believe how smart he was... So I introduced the litter box with the paper in it...He gave me a hard time with that but he seemed like he was startingto grasp it. But now i am having the hardest time with him.. it is worse then when i first got him... He pee's in his crate and when i let him out pee's on the floor no matter how many times i put him on the paper he runs off dripping pee behind him. making puddles in my kitchen.. making spots all over my carpet. My boyfriend thought i might have confused him as the crate is plastic and the litter box is plastic and some what similar... so i sectioned off a small are ain my kitchen for a pillow to lay on and the litter box. (that was lunch time) I came home pee on the floor... not in the litter box not on the pillow... Ok i can deal with it... I had to go out to a function for 2 hours.. came home.. nothing at all in the box... the pillow completely saturated not only that... I took him out to clean it and he made another spot on my carpet..so i crated him. fed him in the crate (he also has no appetite.. he will eat a tiny bit.. but not enough unless put in the crate with the food) any wayi came on here read some advice about crating.. took him out for some supervised time... all the sudden he started running around (sign for poo) I put him on the paper he ran away.. i put him on he ran away.. i cahsed him he pooped n the carpet.i brought him to the paper mid poo.. FINALLY he finished there but I mean COME ON.... I dont know if i can handle this. Has any one ever had to start over?? is this normal? (sorry so long some what of a vent) |

| you know what i started feeling the same. Skoshi this weekend my parents went out of town. and my sis came in to town so thursday and friday i wasnt home that much. i was home in the morning then i came home in the afternoon and let skoshi out and changed and then i came home at night and took care of skoshi. then on friday the same. and he will only usually go outside when i take him, he was completely PT. well over the weekend i think he was being rebellious and pooped right by my head and pooped like 3 more times and pee'ed. now that my moms home he hasnt pooped but pee'ed once in the house. i couldnt tell you how mad i was. but friday and sat all day he pooped right in front of me now matter how many times i took him out. and saturday i was at home all day long. |

| shrek was the same exact way, he used to hate his kennel so now, we finally put it on top of a table in front of a window, which he enjoys looking out of anyways, and it has helped a lot! putting it somewhere where they can enjoy. that may help a lot!

| shrek is still in boot camp it takes a while because he is so stubborn. my friend just adopted a little girl about 2 lbs and she has been working with her, every time you leave you need to put her in the same place. its like clock work with puppies, shrek gets his food and water taken away around 8. i started taking him out every half an hour until he got used to going outside. now he knows he gets a treat everytime he goes so sometimes he likes to fake it now. try using a treat he really likes or a toy! that may help as well!
