Has anyone gone to Petco for Basic Training? I was thinking about taking Autumn for training lessons and say that Petco offered them. Has anyone used them and did it work? thanks!

I went to petco for classes not with my yorkie though with my lab pit bull mix i had at the time she was hyper and it didnt go so well. the teacher lady was very rude and didnt help me very much at all. I got the puppy training book for dummies and learned more out of it and it cost alot less. but i never tried it with a my yorkie and it could have just been the lady that taught our class, cuz from all the people i talked to she didnt really help any of us. all lot of the class though was bigger dogs. smaller dogs might be easier to handle.

I did not go to the petco but watch some of the session. They are not so good and a bit rude to the dog. I would highly recommed petsmart because of the positive training method. I am happy with petsmart result.

Cinamon is currently in Basic training at Petsmart. I like it We haven't done any advanced classes though. You need to really follow up at home. They teach you really not the dog. Right now what I need to know is how to train him to go potty outside and stop barking when I tell him too!!! Any advise?
