| Litter box training/what brand of litter Hello, we have had Coco for two weeks now. Right now we are using a potty pad inside of an ex pen with her crate/bed, food and water. She uses the pad as long as she is in the ex pen. When she is out she pees on the couch and the carpet. I have read that alot of time they confuse the pad with carpet. I really want to try the litterbox training method. ( I put a pad in the box and she laid in it like a bed). Those of you who use litter in the litterbox, what type/brand do you use? How did you do it? I just want to find the right method and stick to it! Thank you, Nicole |

| I actually use the pee pee pads in the litterbox. My cousin uses "Yesterday's News". They are pellets of tightly rolled up newspaper. |

| We tried the little pellets but were a disaster as my girls will try to chew and eat anything small thinking it is a toy/treat for them now we just use wee wee pads on floor, although I agree that training on the pads in a litter container is a great idea!
