Behavior Change after neutering

This explains so much, Jazz does seem a little different, I thought it was him just being a puppy. He seems so confused now, he went through is neutering great, and even my neighbors female yorkie will tolerate him now, but in the house we are constantly chasing him!!! he seems restless and he wonders around like he lost something, I think its cute but at times my patients gets really thin.

The whining has increased...he's always been a whiner anyway but he does it more. For example, in the morning I usually let him out of his crate to go to the bathroom, then after that I put him back so I can take a shower.(my bathroom and bedroom are right next to each other) He will stay in there until I get dressed. I let him out again to eat breakfast. Now I've been doing this since I brought him home. It works out for me especially on work days because I dont have time to chase and worry about what he is doing. At first he cried but he got used to it. Now its like I just brought him home. He cries and whines until I get dressed. Its off and on but very annoying...especially at 7am! I feel like Im having flashbacks...Im sure its something Im NOT doing...that is what the experts say. A dogs behavior is usually caused by the owner. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

When I had Max neutered, his personality totally changed too! In fact, it changed so much... that I thought something had happened to him at the vet, like someone beat him or mistreated him.

Max had always been fearless & independent, before I had him neutered. He was totally potty trained too. But as soon as I brought him home from the vet, he was a different dog. He's scared of EVERYTHING now & wants to be held & loved on ALL THE TIME. He shakes like a leaf at the slightest things. On the other hand... he's also VERY AGRESSIVE now, towards other dogs & strangers & we really have to watch him, because he'll bite. He also has to wear a belly band, because he hikes on everything now.

Max was neutered at 6 months old & he's now 5 years old. He's personality never went back to the "original" Max... but I love him to pieces & wouldn't trade him for any amount of $$. I still wonder though, if SOMETHING did happen to him at the vet that day, or if he was just tramatized from the surgery. I guess I'll never know.

Ok i know i havent been on in a while but i am getting Wyatt neutered becasue he started marking in the house and many people have told me to get it done and he will stop......now i was wondering if anyone else has been thru this and can help me because i cant have this happening!

I did have a problem with him marking which is why I got him neutered, plus everyone said that it is better for them in the long run. He has stopped marking in the house but I still have to watch him.

That's what Izzy was doing. He seemed confused and wandered around sniffing like he was in a new place...and like you my patience was getting thin...it was really annoying. He's better now, and I havent had any problems with him and other people...he loves people! When I have company, he gets really excited!
