| ![]() That is crazy Higgin's Mom! How can he have so much poop? :P Wow, it'd drive me nuts if Yoda pooped that much, he usually makes two little logs each day, pretty consistently, unless he had a Greenie, in which he makes two green poopie logs. I hope no one just ate! |

| ![]() Fasteddie, that's about Toto's regimen too! Since she had the little bout with "too much pear" and "tobacco" and she was pooping waaay too much ... she has switched to sometimes twice a day, but everything is pretty much back to normal! We also "get greenie logs" the day after that "treat" ... matter of fact ... we expect "green" today!! OMG ... I'm skipping breakfast!!!! ![]()

| ![]() Oh my. I will never be able to sleep with my two, because all they do is POOP all night. I wake up in the morning and they have more poop on their pads than will fit on there sometimes, and they start going off the pad when they can't walk on it anymore. I have set down TWO pads now, side by side, and altogether they have THREE spots to go in in the living room set up, because they have crazy bathroom habits........I wish they were a little less excited about #2, but whaddaya gonna do? ![]() |

| ![]() Hi, I have a few questions. When do you stop feeding them at night. I stop feeding chester and chelsey both at 8:00 pm suggested by our vet and our breeder. No water not food. they may get treat at this time cause that is when we do training . Chester and Chelsey nornally poop once or twice a day . only in the day time after they have eaten. Chester does his business out side. Chelsey is still in training and is catching on very fast. She has rang the bell twice now to go outside. chester still does not get that he should ring the bell. Other question "Higgins is a prolific pooper." What type of food are your puppies eating , including teats chicken, wet or dry food. wet food causes them to go to the bathroom more I find. Do you feed them baby food , fruit, things of that nature. If we feed Chester any thing other then his dog food and dog treats garenteed he will be pooping like crazy even have diarea sometime. Chelsey on the other hand can eat anything. Suggestions. Higgin mom, you may want to think about putting higgins in a crate or play pen at night... since that is when he poops the most. At least then you can go to one spot to pick up the mess. Yesterday Chelsey and Chester went outside in the back- yard playing for 30 min. Then I let them in. Chelsey waited until she went in her creat to do # 2. I told her "NO" ! in a very mean voice and picked her up and said outside and out she went. If your puppy is walking and pooping... if you can catch him, pick him up and his poop and puppy and put them out side. and Say outside our what ever command you use Its a lot of work but you have to keep a very close eye on them... Walking around and picking up ther poop while they pop is saying its ok to do it here. Now if it is after it happens it too late . gee you guys are really good mom's I would have pulled my hair out if my puppy were pooping everywere. We may find number one sometimes. with Chelsey.. but walking in to a # 2 is no fun. |

| ![]() We try to feed Toto her Natural Balance about 6AM and 6PM [About 1/4 cup split between the two meals]. In between she has her treats and maybe a couple teaspoons of cottage cheese or a little fruit mid-afternoon. I leave her a little bowl of the Royal Canin Yorkshire 28 down all the time ... sometimes she will go for several days and not want a single piece of it ... some days she eats it up! We never, never let her be without water. I change her water [bottled] and give her a clean bowl several times a day and always make sure it's clean and full before bedtime. What is the theory behind not leaving Chester & Chelsey fresh water at night? I think that's only the second time I have ever heard that ... but haven't heard the reason? Toto usually poops shortly after she wakes and maybe one more time during the day ... if she goes more than that it's usually a sign that something's wrong with her little system! I keep her wee wee pad clean at all times because she won't go on the pad it it's already soiled! She's awfully prissy! ![]()

| ![]() Yoda's Royal Canin Yorkshire 28 is out all the time, he usually eats about twice a day. Usually for dinner he gets some boiled chicken (no salt). He poops usually in the noon hour, or sometimes in the middle of the night, it just depends. He wakes up about noon and dinner time is around 7pm, when we eat. We leave fresh water out for him that he can get to anytime during the day. Sometimes it is a pain to take him to pee at night, but I'd rather have him hydrated than a chance of him being dehydrated, since he does play a lot at night with us. ![]() |

| ![]() Hi Chester is old enough that he can hold his pee all night.. so in his playpen he has access to water and food. It is free fed cause chester eat when he feels like it. With Chelsey we give her water and food durring the day and remove it at 8:00pm. She sleeps right throw the night and we let her out in the morning to go pee with Chester. We have done this as well with Chester when we first got him... Chelsey still has her 4 meals a day and water.. just not after 8:00pm unless we are paying. Then she would get some more water. I actually took chesley to the vet yeterday and she also confirmed to remove the water and food around 8:00 pm. I have never had a problem with them being dehidrated. I think the reason behind it is that there blader is small utill they are 1 years of age.. or at least that was what i was told yesterday. I was asking my vet if I should remove the wee pad from her crate now... but she said to leave it in ther a while longer... unill her bladder is bigger. I still can't get over the amount of poo. chelsey goes like twice a day one in the moring and one at night. same as chester. I always know when chester is sick becuse then he will poo a lot... |
