| ![]() Patience, patience, patience. Sounds like everyone gave excellent advice. Good luck and "this too shall pass". Sophie began in a confined area with a large flexible drip pan purchased from auto store, lined with paper. I could always count on her to use this method if she was gated for long periods of time while I was at work. Freedom to roam? Tried that only when I was home to listen for her signal to go outside. Once they piddle repeatedly in the same spot, they are drawn to it by instinct. She lived to 13 yo. and still used this reliable piddle area instead of my carpet.
