![]() I am looking for the perfect solution to potty train my puppy (who isn't)... I want it to be easy to clean... Help in the smell department... I want my puppy to go inside and outside without confusing him... is this too much to ask? With all that being said, I would like some opinions on this product http://petapotty.site.yahoo.net/index.html

![]() Welcome to YorkieTalk ilovemybear! Potty training just takes time and patience. Some have used bins, some have used some litter boxes, some train their Yorkies to ring a bell when they need to go, here's some good threads to read, hope it helps! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...potty+training http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...potty+training http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...potty+training

![]() That is awfully expensive for a potty....i got a wizdog (www.wizdog.com) for a bit cheaper. my dogs like it, it makes cleanup WAY easier, and the pads i buy last for a long time because they aren't getting their paws all wet on it (those pads have the capacity to soak up more than you think). I end up cleaning the grate briefly daily for their poop, but the pad I change weekly. It's fantastic. Hope this helps a little.

![]() Hi karmaboomer, I got the wizdog as well it does work great the only problem i have with it is chelsey is biting he grid. I tried the bitter apple, but i really thinks she like the taset. So I removed the grid . Now that the grid is off she is pulling the wee wee pad. Oh well. Do you have any of these issues?

![]() I can't say I have had a problem with it. I noticed that they are biting around the edges of the blue part of the wizdog, but not that much, and they leave the grid alone thankfully. The two of them used to shred pads all over my apartment so this solution has been great for them. Unfortunately, I don't know what you could do to stop her chewing except for catching her doing it, reprimanding, and substituting with a chew toy to try and train her not to. Without the grate, the product is pretty useless, so I hope you can get your little one on the right track! Good luck with that! If you can't, tell the company because they offer your money back if it doesn't work for your pet!!! Tell them your story!

![]() Hi thanks for the reply. yep , she has all her toys in there. Chester does not bit it at all but chelsey just finds the grid fasinating.we've caught her in the act and told her no she goes right back to it, in your fase.. like I don't care it fun... so i took it away. I will give it a try again with the grid when she is out of the biting stage. otherwize it is really good. Chester even likes it and he is the one that was hard to train to go in side. Thanks for your suggestion . I will email them.. maybe they make the grid out of somthing more duralbe and have a way to clip it over the blue part.
