| 2 issues! what to do? My Lexi has never fully got the hang of pee pad training. She is 7 months now, and when I first got her at 3 months of age, she managed to get the hang of it pretty well when in my kitchen only. Once i felt she got it, i let her out a bit to the rest of my carpeted apartment. BIG mistake! She pees on it where ever she feels like it. She doesnt even sniff around for a spot...she just squats where ever and pees! I've tried everything in the book! Ignoring the bad and praising the good. Then I was told to say "NO" loudly when i catch her peeing. But now she wont pee if I'm around, only when I turn my back for a split second, then she runs to her bed for cover. This makes it hard for me to praise her for going on the pee pad. I dont know what to do anymore! Also I have found her buring her lil turds in her bed! I couldnt figure out why it was so smelly? Until i saw a little something peeking out...and much to my surprise it was poop! If I dont clean her poop immediately she sometimes brings it over to her bed and somewhat buries it. This is hard to do during the weekdays while I'm at work. The funny thing is that she doesnt always do this, just a random thing. Weird. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

| Well I did try that for a bit too, but my hours are a bit long at work, so I feel that she will always need to go in the middle of the day when I'm not around. So I felt the best thing was to have her trained to go on the pads. Shes not very good with holding her pee. The vet told me to crate train her, but I'm gone for long hours a couple days a week (I'm working on my graduate degree so I have evening classes 2x a week) So I just dont feel ok with leaving her in there for so long.
