oOOoOOo .. i will have to try the cheerios/kix thing, even though I have to say i love kix and maybe more a treat for him than me! lol.


i was also thinking maybe why he's not coming is b/c i haven't really started his training yet (bad! i know!!) so we've started doing little sessions everyday now. so hopefully he'll begin to think in that mind set.

Since Kikko is in the habit of refusing "comes" (or coming then running away), you might want to rename the command when you officially start training it - here, close, near, or whatever you choose - even kix, cookies or cheerio.

Well, I've decided that if I want Cali to come here, I won't call her. Instead, I just listen for her bell to figure out where she is, walk up to her (but not looking at her), and then just grabbing her. She doesn't even realize I'm coming to get her until I'm right up on her. Because Cali likes to run away too. Very annoying.
