| New pee pad tray Hey all, Bella has settled into her new home very well and has found were her pee pads are. Unfortunatly our new home has nice hardwood floors and because she usually seems to trickle off the pee pad I have had to put a washing board type thing under her pee pad to prevent damage. The plastic washing board has ridges so she physically has to step onto it (it's like 1/2 inch). It has only been one day but we have had 3 accidents, right infront of the new pee pad thing. I am wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences? Any alternative suggestions to protect my floor that isn't ugly? Maybe she doesn't like the feel of the wash board?

| I don't know if this suggestion will help you because I don't know where your pee pad is in your home or how much space you have or what you mean by ugly (face it a used pee pad is never pretty no matter what is holding it ) but someone on here and I sure wish I could remember who, because I think it is a wonderful idea and I have since taken her advice and that is to put the pee pad in a washing machine tray. It' pretty big but honestly, it has cut my mopping down to just a regular dirty floor mopping. No more daily mopping up pee under the pads. She seems to hit the pad better too. I got mine for around 20 bucks at home depot. so KUDOS to the user who originally posted this idea!!!

| Tray pictures complete with "props" lol Here are a few pictures of my tray. Regular size pads work well in it but I recently decided to go with the adult size pads they work even better (more coverage) As you can see it was just "used" before I took the first shot. Anyway, this is Mo demonstrating the funny part about it is he doesn't use it as he is housebroken. I did a rough measure and it is approx 30x29 or 30x30. I keep it in my laundry room.

| the washing machine tray is a great idea. I put mine in a shallow under the bed storage box. they took to it right away. I would guess too, that maybe she does not like the wavy board underneath. |

| i bought this cover to go over harley's pad that i keep in his ex pen so i wont have to see it i think it helps too because he has to actually walk inside it and i think he likes the privacy too. http://www.petco.com/Shop/Product.as...milyID=100576&
