| I don't know what to tell you. I've been bating Muffin for fourteen months now and she STILL hates her bath and the blow dryer. I am so gentle with her and praise her and talk sweetly to her but she still hates the whole process. I guess some dogs just don't like bath time. Biscuit tolorates his bath and is a pretty good boy. He's got a very cottony Maletese coat so I have to blowdry him while brushing his hair in the opposite direction of its growth so it comes out straight. It's a real pain in the neck because he's got really thick hair. I keep him puppy cut but it still takes a long time to dry him. Good luck with bathing your little one. Hopefully it will get easier for you. |

| Lot's of patience. Josie has been taking baths, since she was 14 weeks old. It's been a battle since day one. The only thing is, it is getting better everytime. I talk to her, through the whole bath. Then she get's held for about 15 minutes in a nice warm towel. Gives me an opportunity to check e-mail. She let's me blow-dry her. She does hate getting her face dried, though. That's the part that takes me the longest. Then we finish it off with a top knot. Afterwards she get's a special treat, and I get a glass a wine

| I'm going to keep my puppy's hair in a puppy cut just so I don't have to do a lot of grooming since she's not real hot on it. But when I dry her, I switch the blower from heat to no heat in order to keep it blowing at a warm, but not hot temp. I also blow the hair through my spread fingers so that I can feel when it's getting too hot or too cold. If it's too hot on my hand, then I pull the blower away more and switch it down to cool. If it gets too cool, I switch it back to heat dry. |

| After a bath I use a small area heater... it blows hot air but it doesn't make much noise... Chewy doesn't mind it at all... I sit on the floor and brush him while he get blown dry. It only takes a few min. The heater was about 25 bucks. Well worth it!

| I never had an issue with bathing Rosie or blow drying her. She loves both. However, she would scream when we brushed her hair or teeth. We started giving her a treat after every stroke she would not scream. Then we would give her a treat every other strokes. Then I kept decreasing the amount of treats. Haha I guess it defeats the purpose of brushing her teeth since she would eat while we did it. Now she falls asleep when I brush her because she loves it. |

| I have the same prob. with Sam. The blowdryer is an enemy!!! LOL. He gets so mad at it that it actually looks funny. I have even tried keeping him in the room with me while doing my hair and he gets even more mad. Hes still a baby though so maybe in after a few mos he will get used to it. I have even used a little bit of baby powder to help absorb the water. I find his hair dries faster with it and he smells great! lol Be careful of dry skin though! |

| MY method........lol Mine freaked out at first when it was bath time...........now I have no worries. This is what worked for ME: 1. Bought a detachable shower head 2. I get in the tub with him and detach the head and wet him down (he is between my legs) 3. Shampoo him and rinse well.............wrap in a towel (hand over to my husband)........I take my shower while he towel dries him. 4. I put a tiny bit of cowboy magic oil and comb him down.......set the blow drier on medium warm setting and start from the neck down........(takes maybe 3 minutes)

| I must be the exception here. My Nestle seems to really enjoy his bath lately (about the last 4 weeks) I think its the warm water he likes best. We do it in the kitchen sink. He is even pretty good getting combed out but once the blow dryer comes on, he really hates it. |
