| I am wondering what the best way is to introduce a harness and leash to a puppy? I have been putting the harness on him and letting him loose, sometimes he runs around rubbing trying to get it off, other times he just lays there and looks at me like "mom get this thing off me" Just wondering what every one else has done!! |

| You might try putting the harness on him and then distracting him with a favorite game. Make sure the harness is fitted properly and is comfortable. |

| JoJo is now almost five months old and we have been using the harness and leash for about 7 weeks. The harness does not go on easy, JoJo biting it while I wrestle with him to get it on. He already almost chewed through it while it was on and I had to sew it back together. Once I get it on him and put the leash on and start walking, he forgets about it. I placed on order through the internet for a harness that looks like a vest and has a hook for the leash. I am hoping this will be easier to get on him. Maybe he will be less interested in chewing it when he gets a little older, but right now it's a little wrestling match to get it on him, but I do it since he loves to go outside!
