| Won't Potty Outside My 1 and a half year old has always been good about pottying outside when I take her. She rarely has any accidents inside as well. However, in the past 2 days, she has refused to potty outside. She'll simply stand as far away from me as possible at the end of her leash and shake. I feel so bad for her because I assume that means she doesn't have to go. Unfortunately, that's not the case because she'll sneak away the moment we're inside and potty inside. I never had this problem potty training her. She also recently had a false pregnancy, but I don't know if there's any correlation. Can anyone help me? |

| Hmmm... Makes me wonder if Halloween scared her. I think it's safe to assume that something did. I would try taking her for walks - long walks, if need be. Perhaps being out and about will get her mind off of her fear enough so that she can potty. You can then lavishly praise and treat her - with yummy things like real meat or cheese, if that's what she likes - that you have brought with you, hidden in your pocket. Repeat as needed until she makes the connection that pottying outside is a REALLY good thing for her!!!

| Yeah it definitly sounds like something scared her. Maybe try taking her outside to play, then she won't associate going outside with something scary.

| You guys are great! We took a very long walk this today...Perfect weather! I live in a townhome, so we can't let them off-leash to play unless we're very sneaky! So far so good though! And I'll definitely keep trying! |

| Will not go outside My little girl Fantasia wont go outside. She is 4 months old. She will run around and play with her little friend. She loves to go outside, but as soon as we go inside she will go to her potty pad or the rug. I can't get her to go outide.:confused |

I have the same problem with my dog. She usually has to go #2 after she eats so i wait for her to go to her potty pad then i pick her up and take her outside. She will literally hold it until i loose my patience. I waited 2 hours outside just now and she will not go. Dont know what to do. | |
