| biting me and kids..... Zoie has not been agressive until recently. She has started biting the kids when they try to take something away from her (playing) or while she's chewing on a bone and they just try to pet her. She bit my 2 year old HARD. But, he still tries to play with her while she's chewing. I've explained he can't do that, but he's TWO. Zoie stayed in a kennel over the weekend and my husband says it's been since her stay that she's been so bad. Although I think it started the week before. We are not mean to her or anything. She has been doing everything else so GOOD. She doesn't pee on the carpet anymore and will sit by the door to be let out to go pee. So, besides the barking at night outside and the biting I don't have any complaints. I will be having my trainer help me, but I'm confused as to why she's doing this. |

| I'm at a loss. I wish I could be of help. Have you talked to your vet to see if they have any suggestions. Maybe there is something wrong with her, you never know. Wish I could be of more help. Sorry.

| Zoey is "object guarding" which is not uncommon in dogs. The good news is that it's treatable. Here is a good article on how to deal with it: http://www.clickersolutions.com/arti...ctguarding.htm Everyone in the household can and should participate in the program (including your 2 year old!). Good luck!
