| Alternative to bitter apple for chewing.... Gracie and I had our first night of puppy pre-school last night. The one night alone was worth the tuition! As I learn new things that might be of general interest, I will post them. Last night, the instructor said that as an alternative to bitter apple or Phoey for inappropriate chewing, use original flavor Listerine. It won't harm furniture. She said not to use the mint or orange flavors, as they are "seasoning" and dogs like those. Use the nasty original flavor.

| Listerine is a very good idea. I've always used white vinegar, which works as well. It's good to have another alternative.
