| Help Help Help, I don't know what to do! I have a yorkie poo for about 1 week. She is 14 months old and as cute as a button. The problem is she was supposable pad trained but refuses to even look at it in my house. We take her out approximately 8-10 times a day but she's going pee 2x's a day, is that enough? And for the last 2 days she didn't poop. I'm trying to crate train her but I'm at a loss. I don't want her to get sick. I also have a husky, she's 11 years old. They seem to be getting along ok but I don't leave them unsupervised. I think in time they could get along better but I have to be careful as their size is very very different. Please give me some advise on what to do, I need it. Thanks. |

| maybe... Have you tried confining the pup to a small space like an ex-pen, laundry room, bathroom with a pee pee pad? I am not sure about this as I don't use the pee pee pad method, but you might give it a try. Someone else may be more helpful.

| Thanks, but I do crate train her. I just don't know if she's going enough and she didn't poo for 2 days! Also, I don't know how much I should expect from my husky and her. |

| How much is she drinking? She should drink 1-1.5oz per pound of body weight. Measure for a day and make sure she is drinking. Get more liquid in her by trying ice cubes or even diluted chicken broth. I'd say she should be going at least 3-4 times a day. Loki goes about 10 times a day, so I'm no expert on that. He drinks twice what he should Sounds like you maybe have the opposite problem. Maybe she isn't drinking because she is in the crate? So make sure she gets water when she's out. Not pooping for a day is no biggie. 2 days and I'd call the vet or try giving her something. Some people on here suggest pumpkin, but I've never used it so I wouldn't know what kind. I don't know about the Husky, but Loki is almost 2 and I still crate him when we will be gone longer than 10-20 mins. It's safer. So don't feel bad about that!
