| ![]() Great thread - well done! I'm a new Yorkie owner, so Ive made some mistakes, and learnt a lot too. WHAT I WOULD CHANGE 1) Bought a Yorkie 25 years ago (besp pet/breed I've ever had) 2) Be consistent/persistant with the potty training 3) Only feed dry kibble 4) Introduce nail clippers on a regular basis (weeky) 5) Not allow them to sleep in the bed with us (hogs!!) 5 THING I WOULD NOT CHANGE 1) Socialise them early (7 weeks) 2) Obedience classes early (10 weeks) 3) Love them any differently 4) Have bought boys instead of my girls 5) Spoilt them any less!! (and they are VERY spoilt)
