| I had an idea for all this housetraining problems I just had a great idea! I've been struggling with this housetraining dilemma (sp?) ..pads/outdoor...etc. There are times that pads are very convienent...however...when I'm home I want sparks to ask me to go out...or at a friends house. I get the feeling that he is confused. Well, I found that product (the dog bell) that I listed under product and reviews. What if we taught our dogs to ring the bell everytime before they have to "go"....even if it is on a pad? this way...if there is no pad down or you are at someones house...you will know "wait, I have to put a pad down" or "wait, I have to tak ehim out" and there is no confusion on the dogs part because he/she knows...ring bell before going...and I get a treat. they will want you there so they can get the treat. It is so portable too. On a long car ride, you can put it near them so there is no confusion...is the whining because they want to sit on your lap or because they need to "go"? What do you think? suz |

| I bought those bells and my dogs aren't real interested in them - yet... But the cats seem to love them at night and my son keeps taking them off the door so he can sleep! omega |
