with regards to the trailing, my baby did this last night. When she came in (daughter took her out) it was stuck to her hiney. My question is, being 8 weeks old, is it possible for her too many baths?

You should probably bathe once a week or every two weeks depending on how dirty she gets. If the poop is stuck to her hiney, trim the hair away. That happened to Baby and it was covering her bung hole! Then she couldn't poop. So mommy had to trim hair and poop!

My Lilly too. She poops/pees and walks at the same time. I always wondered about this. It is funny to watch, like she is running from it!

Baby does that too! Like she can't be patient enough to squat and wait until she's done. If she walks and pees, then she'll get back to me faster! LOL

After every poop me or DJ30 or both of us wash Angel's behind so that doesn't happen

Just be careful you are wiping the proper way. I read somewhere not to wipe a female dog everytime she went to the bathroom because she might get a urinary and/or yeast infection. I really wish I remember where I read that!

Angel has giardia so we're using shampoo to wash her bum and feet (if needed) as per the vet's instructions. Beforehand, we were just using water. Do you know what the "proper way" is? Thanks.

When I read this thread I was thinking "gosh, I'm soo glad Lexy doesn't do that!"

THEN, today...I guess she somehow ingested some of my HAIR...and she couldn't get it all out (because the hair strand was stuck inside her) and she TRAILED poo from one side of my living room to the other!

Good thing I have hardwood floors but it was soo yucky to clean up.

Baby "eats" my hair too. We women lose our hair like their's no tomorrow. It's pretty nasty, isn't it?

Making sure that you don't wipe towards her pee pee hole. LOL You don't want to get fece bacteria in there. Same as a human! We women are "supposed to" wipe front to back. But how many really do?

PS. Ladies, I asked the question, but don't really answer how you wipe yourself! LOLOL
