I saw the episode this past Friday night so I started with her Saturday morning. We just came home from our walk and I was really surprised when she began barking at some dogs I bzzzst her and she actually turned and looked up at me.

I praised her bunches...like I said I'm not going to hold my breath, but I'm willing to try anything. She can be such a little yapper especially with other animals and kids on bikes or roller blades. I'm hoping for the best and so far I'm tickled with the outcome. Good luck to all who try this.

By the way thanks for the vote of confidence with the posting...I don't do a lot of this.

Never thought of a whistle. I have the coffee can with the 6 pennies in it. I only use that when she's running the fence threatening the life of the 100+ lb dogs next door...I've only had to actually shake it twice in months. Just picking it up usually works.

This brings up an interesting point, however.

When do you get to stop buzzing (or using the can or the whistle)? Does it never end?

Another point, you can never forget to bring along your buzzer.

tried it last nite,,lexi stopped in her tracks and just looked at me.. she stopped barking, but went back to it a few minutes later..i buzzed all nite

i dont know if it ever ends ive been thinking about buying a whistle but like you said its not always with you

i think if we keep it up it might calm down and we will get control but i think barkers will always be barkers

im glad its working with some keep it up !! make sure you tell your baby there good when they stop barking !!

But I think that was because Ginger was looking at me like:
