| Stop the noise! We recently moved out of our rental house and into a small apartment. The change has been quite hard for Mojo, who is only 4 1/2 months old. He's always been a barker, but now that we are in an apartment setting...there is the fear of neighbor complaints and/or eviction! We have to leave the house for at least 4 hours a day to attend class and I believe he barks almost the entire time.... Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this?????

| Do you leave the radio or tv on for him when you leave?

| The TV is always left on and he has a ton of toys. I truly believe this is more than just him being bored...it's either extreme behavior problems or separation anxienty. Either way, I'm at a loss. When I returned from class today...I could still hear him yelping. When I opened the door, I discovered that he had chewed and scratched the door so badly that pieces of it were on the floor. Should I talk to a vet about this? The problem is that I can't discipline him for barking...because I'm not home when he does it.

| I believe they have citronella collars for barkers. Have you thought about that. I know it must be frustrating, how can you stop a problem when you are gone. I believe the dog whisperer would suggest that you make sure he is worn out when you leave. Play some fetch or go for long brisk walk before you leave. You might find some information about it on his website. http://www.dogchannel.com/dog/expert...aspx?WT.srch=1 |

| Thanks for the advise...I am considering the citronella collar, but I've read that they are not recommended for anxiety barkers. Also, Mojo is not even 3 lbs. so I think it might be unsafe. I feel back for him when I leave, but I'm more concerned about neighbors starting to complain!!
