| Will Tyson ever>>>>>>>>>>>>> learn to sit, come when called, drop things when told, stop when I say stop....... the list can go on forever. He is a smart dog-it took him 2x to learn to go outside. Every once in a blue moon he will sit when told. But the rest of the commands..........I must be speaking dog & he listens in human. I know it can be done. I want him to start walking w/out the leash in the yard-but I can not trust him to do that. he will run right out of the yard. Last weekend-the gateon my porch fell down. Tyson walked off the porch & sat in the street(right by the curb). I called him & he ignored me. One of my neighbors was walking by & Tyson got up & walked over to him & then ran up the stairs to the house. I need help! Any suggestions? Tyson is very smart. when we go out for our walks-he walks on the leash fine but if he sees someone he knows-he will try & run to them. He is almost 17 weeks old! |

| Will he ever learn those commands? Sure he will but only if you take the time to teach them! Clicker training has worked incredibly well for us. I highly recommend it. I love the following website; you could spend hours reading there: http://www.clickersolutions.com/articles/index.htm Happy training!

| Well-he seems to understand sit. I want him to learn basic commands. I was calling him this morning & he just sat there & ignored me. |

| My girl did the same to me!! Quote:
It was chilly in the house. I let her out on the deck while I was watering the plants. She lay on the warm deck in the sunshine, and when I was ready to go back in, she wouldn't budge! lololol. I didn't really blame her, but that is the first time she has refused to come to me! Patience, practise, praise, and reward. You will get there. It just takes time.
