Tried that...zstill messes. Would rather clean it off my kitchen floor then out of a tiny crate and off her each time! But anyway..she's 7 years old....not a puppy anymore... Just very frustrating

| Must start over! Wosie had a backslide about that age, so I pretended we were beginning training all over again. I kept her on a leash with me if I couldn't keep her in my sight, and took her out every hour again. Treated and praised, until she got back on track again. Good luck!

| I'm not sure my pup will ever be trained either (8 to 9 months old). BUT - I take him outside every two hours or so ---and he never pee's in the house. He pee's his little heart out outside!!! IF I didn't take my pup outside regularly, he would pee anywhere he wants in the house...... So which one of us is potty trained -- him or me! Whatever - it works! ----------------- 1) He is confined to the kitchen/laundry room area when I work - and most of the time he doesn't pee the 6 or 7 hours I am gone. 2) He almost never pees during the night - 3) And, I put belly bands on him - if I'm busy and may not get him out in a timely manner. I also put a belly band on him at night (just in case), but it is almost always dry in the morning. My pup is an outdoor pee'er. I gave up on potty pads a long time ago - he thinks they are toys and tears them up into a million pieces. ******* So - the end result is that my pup's being potty trained is just my doing my share of the work and taking him outside often. But, like I said -- it works! Carol Jean |
