| Won't Poo Outside! I'm at my wit's end! My Lily Belle (4 months old) will potty outside, but she will hold her poo until we go back in the house and then will do it inside. No matter how long I stay out with her, she will hold it. As soon as we go back in the house she runs right in and poos in the living room. I have tried picking up her poo and taking it outside and showing her, but that hasn't worked. Any other ideas?

| Lily Belle is still young, it takes about a good year to train, and with that they still have accidents. My Gucci is 22 mts. old and she is trained to go outside and indoors. Till today she still has accidents with poop in the house she use to go on pads but the past few mts. she doesnt when she is indoors. She knows she has done wrong but continues to do it. I am glad that the weather is getting warmer. When Gucci was younger she did the same thing as Lilly Bell . Lilly Bell will learn too.. Just continue to take her outside and she will get the concept, have patience, I know that it is frustrating but the yorkies are well known to be stubborn in this training...When she does go outside reward her with a treat and lots of praise.. They love that.. Good luck! Gina Last edited by GucciMyGirl; 04-12-2006 at 06:17 AM. |

| Yes, she knows she has done wrong when she goes in the house. It's actually pretty cute - when she sees me she runs away with her ears laid back. They are so darn cute it is impossible to stay mad at them. This is my first yorkie so it is a learning experience.

| lexi just turned one and she is potty trained but still has accidents with poo in the house too. We try to catch it but are not successful all the time, but at least it is in the same spot usually so we have just put a potty pad down in that spot and are hoping this will work. as a baby she was pad trained for both but then we started her going outside, it has worked but we still have accidents. when she does have an accident it is kinda sad and funny, she knows she had done bad and walks to me or my husband with her ears down and lays down....like mom i am so sorry i let you down he he.
