| Problem w/male yorkie peeing on chair legs... Well, Teddy has really been doing a lot better when it comes to going potty outside. I still leave him the wee wee pads just in case I get home late and he has to go really bad. But lately his new thing is to pee on my dining room chairs. I have moved the chairs, and that stopped him for a while, but now he's decided to pee on the table legs. Is there a product I could buy to deter him from peeing on my furniture? Does anyone have any suggestions? |

| My little pup is doing the same thing.....but, when I take him outside to pee - he does the same thing... lifts his leg and pees on whatever (usually bushes). I would think that it is just a little boy thing...not being totally potty trained yet. Carol Jean |

| You need to get some belly bands they are probably marking. A belly band is a piece of material that velcros around their abdomen, covering up their little boy parts, then when they pee it stays in the band. I finally bought some belly bands for Reuger. I just love them. I just have to remember to put them back on him when he comes inside. There are several people who sell them on YT or you can buy them on e-Bay.

| From what I've read, indoor marking should be treated as a potty-training lapse. Watch him like a hawk. When you can't, confine him to "safe" areas. When you catch him in the act of pottying correctly, praise heavily and treat. When you catch him doing it wrong, interrupt him and quickly take him to the right place. Good luck!
