| We just let Smudger learn on his own. At first i was really worried that he would roll down but he just took it one step at a time. When he was 13 weeks though I was still carrying him down. I can't believe that i used to panic in case he fell off the sofa and now he can jump off the dining table and kitchen units

| I was just curious if your deck stairs are "open" in the back--just treads and no risers. Maybe that is just to scary for her to go down them if they are open. |

| Going down the stairs My little girl is 11 months old now and she will fly up the steps, but I am afraid to let her start down them, I have 12 steps, I put her on the 3rd step from the bottom and she leaped over them and landed on her full body. Does anyone have any tips? |

| I taught Bella and Thumper to go up and down the stairs by attaching them to the leash and going up and down the stairs. At first they were afraid but after multiple trips they figured it out. They are now pros.
