| Clicker Training Books I recently started using the clicker to train my dog. He knows how to sit but it's been a couple of weeks now and he still doesn't give me his paw. So I was wondering are there any books that members on here have used that have helped them with clicker training? If so please list them here. Thanks. |

| I would love to hear an answer to this too. We are just beginning clicker training... so far just click-treat click-treat.

| Do you have any classes in your area? To train to give paw. Give the command, pick up his paw, click and reward immediately. If he does not get the idea, lift his paw again after the command and when you have his paw, click and treat. Try this a few times. Then give the command and if he does it, click immediately and treat and have a party with him and tell him what a good boy he is. Try not to delay between when he does it and treat. You are telling him by the clicking, he has "done the right thing". |
