| How often do you change the pee pad? For those of you that use pee pads, I was wondering how often you change the pee pads?? Once a day, twice a day, more???? Just wondering. I use the pee pads outside, and when it was just Hercules I was changing it once a day. But now with Athena adding to it, I've been changing more often.

| Schatzie goes through oh, about 5-6 a day Im guessing. When there are 3 small potty spots on the pad it goes in the trash. If she poo-poo's I just dump the poo in the toilet the continue the use of the pad. I use the bottom plastic tray of her exersize pen and it holds two pads at a time.

| Wow, you use 5-6 a day! That's good though, since she's in the house. I guess I don't change them as often b/c I use them outside. But I'm definitely starting to change them more often than I used to. I also scoop up poop and flush it. Where do you get your pee pads?? I'm thinking about ordering some from PetEdge.com (along with lots of other things). They have great prices. And when you go through them so fast, you need good prices! Good grief, who woulda though these little guys are so darn expensive!!??? But still worth EVERY penny, right!?

| 5-6 times a day would be so nice I have 2 yorkies that are both trained to use the pads inside and I must change them at least 8 times a day. I've been getting them at Wal-mart for $6 a bag. How many are in the ones from Target? |

| I'm thinking I must have a different kind of pad. The ones I have are completely absorbant, large and there is no odor. They are also scented to make the dog want to go there. The fact that she's already peed there sure doesn't seem to bother her and I change it when it looks like it needs it. |

| Simonandhallie,I can't think off hand now how many are in the bag. (quite a lot though, I do know that) I always take them out and load them into my laundry cupboard then throw the bag away. However, I have to go to Target this week to get more so will let you know for sure. Harbinger,Actually yes, Schatzie does pee often, but I like to change them often anyway as Im kinda picky when it comes to keeping the house clean. Few little spots on the pad and it heads to the trash. The first time morning potty break pad always heads to the trash as it's a BIG spot. LOL

| i also am most thrilled with the wee -pads from target. they seem to be the best bundle for price. i get the 50 bag which usualy has 10 extra in it for.. i want to say maybe $15. don't quote me on that for sure... no more than $20. im on my last bunch so i need to make a trip there also. they are redicculous at a pet store. you are paying almost a dollar per pad. |

| I let Yoda pee maybe two or three times (he doesn't pee on the same exact spot) on the pee pad before changing it. He can pretty much avoid walking on any pee spots if it's less than 4 times it seems. |

| pads You can buy over the internet from medical supply sites...those blue incontinent pads are about $50 for 150 large pads. My daughter has two dogs and uses a pad in the bedroom and another in the living room..two per day and changes them once a day..but picks of any poop of course.. I use washable pads, but that is not for everyone..some people do not like washing them in the same machine as they wash their clothes..but we washed baby diapers back in the dark ages, so it doesn't bother me...I run bleach through after I wash pads. I use news papers in the doggy room and cloth in the other parts of the house. Some newspaper co will give people the end rolls of papers..no print on it. |

| We use about 2 a day (sometimes 3 if she rips one up during the day). I usually give her a fresh one in the morning AFTER her huge morning pee and morning poop. And then I usually give her another fresh one when I get home from work. I notice she doesn't like to use the pad once it is really dirty. And I think they look pretty yucky after a few uses, and since they are in my living room area, I like to have a clean one there! Esme is still only a puppy and weighs 3.5lbs, so I figure I will probably have to change it a little more often as she gets older and bigger and the pee and poop grow too... My mom has two Pomeranians, and she goes through about 8 pads a day!!! I also just scoop up the poop and flush it down the toilet. I get them at Target. They are 50 in a bag. Mari

| Another good place to order the pads for cheap is www.petedge.com. I actually got their catalog in the mail. They sell 100-packs for $19.99 and $23.99, depending on which brand you pick.

| I let Stewie pee 3 or 4 times on it before I change it. He is a pee-machine. He is still potty training and knows he is gonig to get a treat if he goes on it, so he makes sure I'm watching, dribbles on it, then runs over for a treat.

| I buy 300each of 17x24 paper-pak underpads for $41.70 (includes fedex shipping) at shieldhealthcare.com. Molly uses about 4-5 a day. She doesn't like to use them more than once. Val |
