We use about 2 a day (sometimes 3 if she rips one up during the day). I usually give her a fresh one in the morning AFTER her huge morning pee and morning poop. And then I usually give her another fresh one when I get home from work. I notice she doesn't like to use the pad once it is really dirty. And I think they look pretty yucky after a few uses, and since they are in my living room area, I like to have a clean one there! Esme is still only a puppy and weighs 3.5lbs, so I figure I will probably have to change it a little more often as she gets older and bigger and the pee and poop grow too... My mom has two Pomeranians, and she goes through about 8 pads a day!!! I also just scoop up the poop and flush it down the toilet. I get them at Target. They are 50 in a bag.
