Ask him a ton of questions. Does he believe in Alpha? IF so run. Does he get pysical with the dogs? He should be able to train without ever laying a hand on a dog. If so run. Ask if you can come see him train first. If not run. Ask him what he recomends you read crosss check it at clicker solutiion and the list of what to rad and what not. Ask him where and with how he learned his craft. Ask if he is a membe in good standing with any training assositation and which ones. Was he writen a book if so which one and read it. If you like what he says give him a try. Make sure mostly if you do use him that you listen to her gut. If at anytime you get an uncomfortable feeling run do not walk any from him. Your Job as a Mom and owner is to protect your dog not be nice to a guy that is your trainer. You should be able to say no at any point in the training and he should stop. Never let someone handle your dog without hin tekking you totally what they are about to do. Any rough stuff on yours or any dog in class leave at once. Joy | |

| Do a google seach on Dean Rankin Dog Trainer...I don't think you will like what you read. It appears that this guy is not a trainer...just someone who is making $$$ off a need for training.
