| Witching hour? Every evening starting around 6pm its like the pup becomes a little wild demon. Hes super wild, bites and gets the zooming. Anuone else go thru this? I was tempted to try and teach him "place" but unsure if he will be focused enough for that just yet.. |

| Awww the visual of a zooming baby, how I miss those puppy days. I think we all went thru the wild child zooming faze lol. I just let my puppies run off that extra energy. Biting is one of the reasons why puppies should stay with the momma and litter mates until 12 weeks old. In this time momma teaches her babies bite inhibition, teaches them what is and is not acceptable in play biting. Now you are the momma, and you have to teach him that hard biting is not acceptable. If it is you he is biting use a firm tone, tell him no biting, and give him a toy to bite on. Do the same if it's his sister. Zooming yorkies is a normal thing for the breed, I would just let him zoom around to burn off all that energy.

| Yeah we've let him run off that extra steam. He's soooo fast!! He goes under things like lightning and its a wonder he doesn't hit his head!haha. Its a sight for sure, especially with his rear tucked and off he goes! We still have a ways to go with the biting but I'm sure he will get it eventually with the redirection. |
