| ReTraining for getting on furniture I need some retraining advice as I’ve allowed Emma to jump on and off furniture . I don’t mind her on the furniture, I’m just starting to worry about how this can be bad on her joints. I just moved the coffee table in front of the sofa but she jumped in the chair when I wasn’t looking . I’m looking in to new bed options for her so she can stay on the floor but I need to figure out how to get her to stop jumping . I will pick her up but I need her to at least wait until I can do it. Any thoughts are appreciated?

| That’s going to be very hard and confusing on her. Maybe try pet steps instead. All of mine jump on the furniture and right now everyone but Callie is fine. Callie’s issues aren’t because of jumping though. I think if she is healthy honestly it’s fine.

Totally see it . She is healthy . I’m trying to avoid steps, just my own personal preference on space and asthetic . Thanks for the feedback , gonna think this through some more.
