| They know how to swim although some are better then others and a life vest gives them a better feeling of safety.

YT Addict | For a Yorkie with a full coat a life jacket is an absolute must!! Our Priscella looove our swimming pool, would actually run and jump off the diving board onto the nearest pool float occupied or not lol. Quickly found the life jacket was needed to keep her from drowning.with her full coat pulling her down we’d look to see just her paddling like mad with just her little nose sticking up outa the water, Think she musta had a Labrador retriever in her genes somewhere ! Lol That was almost 30 yrs ago and we still have our sweet angels life jack tuck in a drawer in our bedroom close to us

| Dexter stands on top of the steps to the pool. I pick him up and put him in the pool. He swims a small lap climbs up the steps and shakes off. I’d have a vest for him if it was a large body of water though |

| I had two swimmers now passed, both long hair, they took to water like fish, I was a camper, campground had a lake. I threw their Frisbees, they dashed in the lake to fetch lol, my pups hair floated atop the water, no life jackets they were born swimmers but, I do advise a life jacket to give your baby confidence, not all yorkies like swimming.
