I had two swimmers now passed, both long hair, they took to water like fish, I was a camper, campground had a lake. I threw their Frisbees, they dashed in the lake to fetch lol, my pups hair floated atop the water, no life jackets they were born swimmers but, I do advise a life jacket to give your baby confidence, not all yorkies like swimming.
