| Training Pad. I just got my Yorkie, yesterday, and I have no idea how to potty train her. I put a training pad, and she thinks is her bed. Lol She is 9 weeks old. Is she too small to learn? |

| Welcome to YT and congrats on you new baby. NO she is not to young to learn. Toilet training must start at an early age. Keep her confined to a small area with her bed, toys, food, water and pad. You must teach her where the proper place to pee and poop is. Every time she pees off the pad, absorb the pee with the pad, place the pad back pick her up and place her on the pad and tell her pee pee on the pad, the same with the poop. You must be consistent in this training, lots of patience is needed, never scold, just correct. This is just one reason why puppies should stay with their momma until they are 12 weeks old. From 8 weeks to 12 weeks momma is teaching her babies many things, even how to pee on pads. Now that falls on you, when she does pee or poop on the pad reward her and praise like crazy. It may take some time, but she will get it. Never let her have free roam of the home until she is 100% potty trained.
