| Barks non-stop at doggie friends who don't want to play!!! Hi Everyone! Charlie is driving me NUTS! I can't take him to any friends house who has dogs because all he does is bark at them to play or keeps nipping at them to get a reaction. I don't know what to do anymore and I don't want to leave him at home alone. His best friend is a 6 year old yorkie Henry - who will sometimes entertain him but he's more of the "give me a toy to chew on" kind of dog and if Henry has a toy that charlie wants, Charlie just barks and barks and barks even if i try to distract him a few seconds later he'll just go back to barking. Any thoughts? Advice??? Charlie is a year and two months old, and i thought it was his puppy phase, but he doesn't seem to outgrow it. I take him to the dog park often so he's socialized well but just when it comes to being in a house he doesn't seem to relax ever. Last edited by chchCharlie; 06-15-2017 at 09:52 AM. |
