| Kansas City Yorkie Meet up Hello all, I'm new to the forum. I have a 4 month old Yorkie named Toby. He is a little rascal but he's a good dog. He weighs in just under 2lbs right now. I would like to get him socialized around other dogs. He does great with people, but I would like him to learn to behave properly around dogs. I know that dog parks have small dog sections, but I still feel like he is too small for that. He is technically a runt and the lady I purchased him thinks he will be around 3lbs. This lady doesn't breed for teacups and his mother was 7lbs and his father was 5lbs. I am hoping he gets up to 5lbs at least. I didn't know if anyone lived in or around Kansas City MO who also had a good tempered Yorkie to possible meet up with and be pals. My dad has a Jack Russel and a Deutschen I will probably introduce him to soon. I think he will behave around other dogs fine but I am afraid he will get injured a 20lb dog plowed over him at the dog park on accident. |

| Have you ever searched for small dog meetups on meetup.com? I think different cities have meets for this. In Vancouver, there's one every month that I used to go to. Good luck with the socializing! And enjoy the puppyhood!
