| ![]() We considered getting two dogs from Gracie's litter, but read all of the stuff about littermates and chose not to. She turned out to be such a wild child that we knew we needed a friend for her. Now we have Maggie, and heaven help us if we separate them UNLESS each one of us is holding one! And they are from different STATES! You will be a caregiver more than anything, but you will have happy puppies!

| ![]() Hey there! While I don't have an answer, I do want to say that we have 2 puppy Yorkies from the same litter. I was so happy to get them. A brother and sister. Then I read about the "littermate syndrome" too and I was like oh my gawd....but then I was screw it. I will love to pieces no matter what. That was a month ago. From the looks of it, I got the maybe the 1st born (she's a fattie) and the runt (tiny thing, but aggressive). The girl is an adventurer and independent while the baby boy is content to be held, kissed and loved. Despite the crazy puppy playing towards each other, they do end up sleeping side-by-side or one head on top of the other. ![]() |
