| How Soon Does Your Puppy Poop After Eating? I'm curious because my older yorkie goes within about 5-30 minutes after she eats. She's so predictable. My 15-week-old can HOLD IT. She won't go for hours and it's so frustrating because if I have to put her in her puppy apartment, she'll go in the middle of the night and I'll wake up to poop all over the place. This means she'll go immediately for a bath then I'll spend another 20-25 minutes scrubbing everything. It's horrible. I'm hoping she'll be more predictable soon. For this reason, I do not free feed her like I do with my oldest. Just wondering about others' experiences with their puppies. I think mine is uncommon.

| My Yorkie mix almost always goes poop within 20 minutes of eating. Not so with my full Yorkie. She can hold it for a long time.

| my little one is 13 weeks and he can hold it for 4+ more hours. I took him out this morning at 5:30 and he pooped and then he pooped again at 11:15. Yesterday he held it from 11AM to around 7PM even with me taking him out at 4. Sometimes he'll poop on the pad overnight, but not all the time. I wish he was more predictable, especially since I feed him on a schedule. Now I never know when he has to pee! |

| Same here! My 9 week old will eat and wont poop for 4+ hours. She's getting a little better though because I feed her at 6pm and she wouldn't poop until morning but now she poops around 9pm before bed fortunately. With pee if she has to hold it while in her crate at night she can for about 4-5 hours but if shes in an area where I can watch her at all times she'll pee every 30 minutes! Definitely frustrating! What are you feeding your puppy? I'm feeding Blue Buffalo |
