| nipping puppy Hiya I'm new on the site and have a wee 4 month old yorkie called Ben and he's a wee dote but he keeps nipping at my hand, has anyone any advice on how to stop this? Thanks |

| When Teddy was that age, if he bit or nipped, I would say AH! and give him a toy immediately. He quit nipping altogether and licks when he plays instead. Now at 11 months, if he thinks he's put his mouth on me, he quickly releases and licks me. |

| This is a common behavior problem with yorkie pups and its easily stopped But you need to stop it soon because it can lead to aggression problems if you let it get out if hand What you do us every time he nips you yell ouch or No and quickly get up and stop all interaction with him. You'll see he will get the message very quickly
