| Potty Training For Apartment Life Question? Hello! My name is Andrea, and at the end of this month I will be bringing home my 8 week old puppy named "Tina". I live in an apartment and I have a question about potty training for such matters. I'm going to be doing crate training and want to teach her to learn to use the bathroom outside, but I'm nervous because I do live in an apartment complex where there are plenty of owners who have dogs and take them out around here to potty. I don't want her to catch anything. So, would it be wise to train her to use the bathroom inside for now in an appropriate spot and when she's done with all of her vaccinations, train her for using the bathroom outside? Or will she be okay with her first couple rounds of shots and be able to go outside then? This is my first time owning, and while I know mistakes will happen, I would hate for her to catch something because of my lack of knowledge on the matter. Thank you much, and I hope that makes any sense! |

| Both of mine started on pads then went to outside. Now I keep a pad just in case they can't hold it but they go outside also. You can use both. Ps. Don't let her outside until she has at least 3 rounds of shots
